It takes a long time when the game gets bloated, crashes, and then you lose a ton of progress. As long as the game is still playable I guess that's ultimately the most important thing, I had just hoped to eventually get all of the gameplay badges. Hopefully the worst that can happen is that it doesn't make a difference. I don't know if it would make any difference at all, but would changing my password possibly make a difference? I haven't tried that yet. It's weird, and I don't think it has anything to do with this login issue. If I log out and log back in, they are visible again, but then they disappear. The points don't disappear, they just don't show up on the top right hand of the screen where they're supposed to. Something that doesn't affect gameplay, but that I noticed when I made my last purchase is that when I'm logged into the Sims 3 store, visibility of my points balance disappears.
I have a short cut on my desktop to load the executable without the Launcher just to save that step. I had actually just started using the Launcher because it was quicker to test if the login was working instead of constantly hitting the Windows key to exit full screen from the Main Menu. It gives you an actual Invalid email/password notification instead of kicking you right back to the login prompt. I have numbers in my password, but no special characters.īut like I mentioned before, the same thing happens in the Main Menu as well, just the failure notification is different.
